Social Worker
A Social Worker with XL Hospice provides a wide range of psychosocial services to terminally ill patients and their families, including regularly assessing the patietn and family psychosocial needs, and pre-bereavement needs. Implements the plan of care including goals for alleviating problems, supportive counseling, problem solving, community referrals, and bereavement care. Regularly re-evaluates the patient's and family's needs.
Qualifications & Education
Master's degree in Social Work. Experience in end-of-life care preferred.
XL Hospice serves a broad geographical area, including the following counties: Churchill, Pershing, Mineral, Lyon, and Carson City.
